Roman dayPosted on: April 17th 2018
Year 4 children started their Summer term by travelling back into the Roman times where children and staff came dressed as Roman warriors. Both children and staff were involved in a Roman workshop throughout the day. During the workshop, the children explored the dramatic change in the lifestyle of even the lowliest citizens following the arrival of the Roman legions. They also took a tour through a bath-house and experience the excitement of the games arena. Real Roman artefacts provide the opportunity to get a real hands-on experience of history.
