As the largest primary school in the country, we are excited to be recruiting for a variety of roles to meet the needs of our rapid expansion. Following on from our recent successful Ofsted judgment (February 2015) we are seeking ambitious values driven professionals who are willing to work with us in our expansion and support us in driving forward the agenda for social equality and excellent provision for our children.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Network Systems Assistant to support the day to day running and organisation of the school network and IT systems across two school campuses.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently maintaining the school’s network and providing technical support for staff in all IT requirements. The main responsibilities will include;

  • Maintaining and supporting Helpdesk facility and problem solving daily issues.
  • Installing new software and upgrading existing applications.
  • Maintaining and supporting the school’s website and intranet.
  • Ordering and maintaining IT equipment and consumables.
  • Maintaining and updating I.T asset records

If you are willing to train to a higher level, have good problem solving skills and a sound knowledge of a range of IT hardware and software solutions we would welcome your application. A good standard of oral and written communication skills and friendly and efficient customer service skills are essential.

Previous experience of working in a school environment and knowledge of commonly used school applications such as SIMS would be an advantage but is not essential. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to cover school events and training as required.
